eastham near net zero house
The site is in an existing residential neighborhood near Herring Pond in Eastham. The existing 1930's cottage could not be salvaged due to structural deficiencies and water damage.
The new residence is sited further from the water but with wide vistas to the pond to the north. A series of smaller one-story components connect 2 larger modern gable structures with solar on south facing roofs.
